Categories — FAQ
How are categories sorted?
Use the sort control to switch between Most glyphs (default) and A–Z. Sorting happens on the server for consistent results.
What is a Unicode category?
A category groups related characters by script, block, or general function to aid discovery, typography, and accessibility planning.
Why does a category show more glyphs than another?
Counts reflect approved English character pages mapped to each category. More popular categories generally have more mapped glyphs.
